About
Luke Norvell is a recent graduate of The Academy of Vocal Arts. Operatic roles include Rodolfo in La bohème, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, the title role in Faust, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Alfredo in La traviata, and Lensky in Eugene Onegin. Next season, he will be seen as Ferrando in Così fan tutte at Sarasota Opera and Rodolfo in La bohème at The Grange Festival. He will also cover Duca in Rigoletto at Canadian Opera Company. In competitions, he has won prizes in the Tenor Viñas (5th), Giargiari Bel Canto (2nd and audience choice), Metropolitan Opera Laffont (district winner), Opera Index (Emerging Artist Award), Young Patronesses of the Opera (1st and audience choice), and SAS Performing Arts competitions (1st).
